The Portuguese Production comes from our Producers’ Organization – the Globalfrut – recognized for the production and commercialization of fruits and vegetables:

• It has more than 60 producers.
• They represent a production area of over 600 ha.
• They comply with the integrated production and environmental measures – most of our production has GlobalG.A.P. , GRASP and NURTURE certification.

• Sunfruit – “Herdade de Penique”:

With a production area of 200 hectares, it is located in Ferreira do Alentejo and is dedicated to the production of fruit with an exceptional taste and sweetness due to the edaphoclimatic conditions of the Alentejo region. We emphasize the Rocha Pear for its precocity, as well as Peaches, Plums, Nectarines, Persimmon and Quince.

• Fruit tree orchards in the West area:

There are more than 60 producers in the West area. Due to the Atlantic breeze, this region has unique climatic conditions that confer an exquisite taste and coloration to fruits. In this region, small parcels that producers take care of with extreme love characterize production. These fruit tree orchards are distributed throughout the West area, concentration the production of Plum, the famous Rocha Pear and Apple, emphasizing the Royal Gala variety.
