Nuvi Fruits was born in 2006 through a partnership between Luis Vicente and Consulai and Oleribus companies, aiming to launch a technology-based project for fresh cut fruit. In 2008, the Luis Vicente Group took full control of the company and at the end of 2013 it inaugurated its new industrial fruit processing unit with state-of-the-art technology at international level and certified by the IFS Food and BRC Food standards.
At Nuvi Fruits we aim to be a national and international reference in the development and production of new food solutions deriving from fruit and vegetable products in order to facilitate access to a more balanced and healthy diet with tasty, fun and innovative products.
We currently operate in two business areas: Fresh Cut Fruit and Dehydrated Fruit. Its best-known brand is Frubis with 4 product ranges:
- Natural: dehydrated fruit snacks with only 1 ingredient (100% Fruit)
- Exotic: dehydrated fruit snacks with more than 1 ingredient (Ex: Apple with Cinnamon)
- Choco: dehydrated fruit snacks with chocolate covering
- Fresh: fresh cut fruit snacks with 1 or more ingredients (Ex: Fruit with Yogurt).
In addition to the domestic market, we have already exported to more than 10 countries in Europe and Asia and we have the expansion of our brand in the international markets as main growth axis for the next years. The innovation agenda for new product development is also very ambitious; hence, the growth of the company will not only lead to new markets, but also to the expansion of its line of products.
